Roydad Naft News Agency – A member of Iran’s Parliament on Tuesday said the Oil Ministry’s approach to protecting the environment is “praiseworthy”.

Somayyeh Rafiei, head of the parliamentary environment bloc, told Roydad Naft News Agency the Oil Ministry under Javad Owji has paid due heed to environmental protection in its plans and investments.

The lawmaker lauded the ministry’s plans for collection associated petroleum gas (APG), expressing hope such constructive measures will continue.

In a June 27 statement addressing the president, 220 MPs expressed their gratitude to the Oil Ministry for its brilliant performance.
