MP praises interaction between Oil Ministry, knowledge-based firms
Roydad Naft News Agency – An Iranian lawmaker on Saturday lauded the good interaction between the Oil Ministry and knowledge-based companies.
In his talks with Roydad Naft News Agency, Hossein Hosseinzadeh, a member of the Presiding Board of the Parliament’s Energy Committee, said the interaction has helped indigenize oil and refining industries and make prototypes of a large number of equipment.
Production of prototypes is the missing link in Iran’s industries, noted the lawmaker, putting emphasis on supporting domestic production and homegrown equipment.
He hailed the Oil Ministry for attaching great significance to [locally-made] refining equipment, saying the ministry has signed good contracts with Iranian knowledge-based companies on supply of such equipment.
Indigenization of refining equipment industry and production of its equipment by Iranian experts helped the country build refineries and offer related services beyond the borders, Hosseinzadeh concluded.
