The CEO of Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refinery announced the increase in gas production of the refinery by 3 million cubic meters per day despite the persistence of cold weather.

According to IRIB, Yahya Feizi said: “Last week, the employees of Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refining Company were working 24 hours a day at minus 20 degrees in order to be able to provide gas to our compatriots in the northeast of the country.”

He added: “We have had a stable production so far and in recent days, with the initiatives that were carried out, we were able to add even 3 mcm/d to the production of the refinery.”

The CEO of Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refinery emphasized: “2,100 people are working in this refinery every day, and due to the special conditions caused by the cold weather in the country, they are now working 24 hours a day.”

Feizi also stated that the cold weather has persisted in the area of Khangiran, and stated: “Gas facilities are located in the open environment, but despite the persistence of cold weather, gas facilities are continuously monitored for maintenance, readiness and gas production.”
