Outsourcing of Aviation Fueling Centers in Iran Approved
RoydadNaft – The deputy oil minister said outsourcing of aviation fueling centers in three clusters has been approved, a decision aimed at cutting operating costs, raising productivity, and reducing the direct role of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company.
According to Roydad Naft, Mohammad Sadegh Azimifar pointed to implementation of Article 105 of the Seventh Development Plan. After the necessary studies, outsourcing of aviation fueling centers in three clusters has been approved, he said.
The centers will be transferred to qualified companies after technical and financial annexes are prepared and legal steps are completed.
Other remaining activities of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, and parts of the fuel-supply chain, including oil depots, are also on the agenda for outsourcing, Azimifar said, outlining plans to reduce the company’s direct role.
