An employee of the Fluids Management Department of the National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) has died following an accident while working on the Fath 93 drilling rig in Iran.

RoydadNaft –  An employee of the Fluids Management Department of the National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) has died following an accident while working on the Fath 93 drilling rig in Iran.

According to Roydad Naft, citing the National Iranian Drilling Company, the incident claimed the life of Asghar Soleimani, an operations worker who had played an active role in drilling operations and development projects in challenging fields. The necessary steps are underway to investigate the cause of the accident.

Morteza Fooladi, CEO of the National Iranian Drilling Company, expressed his deep sorrow over the death, describing the loss of the employee as a painful blow to the company’s workforce.

In his message, Fooladi extended his condolences to Soleimani’s family, his colleagues in the Fluids Management Department and the crew of the Fath 93 rig. He also paid tribute to the late employee’s contributions to the country’s production operations and wished patience and divine reward for his bereaved family.
