RoydadNaft –   According to the statistics of the US Department of Energy, the total stolen Iranian oil by this country has reached more than 4 million barrels since 2020 under the pretext of sanctions.

The American Energy Information Administration affiliated with the Ministry of Energy of this country announced that the country imported 447 thousand barrels of Iranian oil in the eighth month of this year, which is equivalent to about 15 thousand barrels per day.

Before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran was one of the major suppliers of oil needed by the United States, but after the overthrow of the Shah’s regime and the severing of relations between the two countries, the import of Iranian oil was stopped by the United States.

According to experts, the figure of 447,000 barrels of oil imported by the United States from Iran in August 2023 is related to the stolen oil of this country from Iran’s oil export shipments, which were seized under the pretext of sanctions.

In addition to the seizure of 447 thousand barrels in august this year , the country seized 2 million and 111 thousand barrels of oil in march of 2021 , carrying about 2 million and 33 thousand barrels , and in january of 2022 , the consignment seized 507 thousand barrels of oil .

Based on this, according to the Ministry of Energy, the total amount of oil or petroleum products stolen by the United States from Iran is 4,98,000 barrels, which, with the price of oil at $85, amounts to $350,000,000.
