Iran’s Article 90 Commission Visits South Pars Infrastructure

The chairman and members of parliament’s Article 90 Commission visited oil and energy infrastructure in the Pars Special Economic Zone during a trip to Bushehr Province, to assess readiness against challenges from regional developments.

RoydadNaft –  The chairman and members of parliament’s Article 90 Commission visited oil and energy infrastructure in the Pars Special Economic Zone during a trip to Bushehr Province, to assess readiness against challenges from regional developments.

According to Roydad Naft, Jafar Pourkabgani, the member for Bushehr, Ganaveh, Deylam, and Kharg, said a close field review of the province’s oil and energy sector and of its strategic weight under regional developments was a main aim of the trip.

In the first stage, commission members visited oil-industry infrastructure in the Pars Special Economic Zone and reviewed operations there.

They will next go to Kharg Island and visit key energy infrastructure in that area, he said.

The commission chairman and members arrived in Bushehr on Wednesday morning, October 7, 2026, at Pourkabgani’s invitation. Field review of oil and energy infrastructure, readiness against regional tensions, and follow-up on public demands were listed as goals of the trip.
