Iran’s Refining and Distribution Company Holds First AI Course for Managers
RoydadNaft – The first training course on “Introduction to and Use of Artificial Intelligence in Organizational Management” for managers in the refining and distribution industry was held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the company’s Pasian campus.
According to Roydad Naft, the course was meant to raise participants’ knowledge in the field and to signal senior managers’ determination to put the tool in place.
Specialist training for information and communications technology staff, aimed at professional use of artificial intelligence in programming and in redesigning the organization’s operating processes, was the start of effective AI use at the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company.
The company’s human-resources management plans, by the end of the Iranian year (March 20, 2027), to teach practical basics to all staff through offline and online courses at headquarters and all subsidiaries, and to identify, select, and train capable employees for hands-on use of artificial intelligence in organizational processes.
