Iran’s Firmco and Khorasan Petrochemical Sign Deal to Manage Energy Imbalance

Firmco Pars Engineering and Installation and Khorasan Petrochemical have signed a partnership agreement to develop new solutions for managing energy use and Iran’s energy imbalance.

RoydadNaft –  Firmco Pars Engineering and Installation and Khorasan Petrochemical have signed a partnership agreement to develop new solutions for managing energy use and Iran’s energy imbalance.

According to Roydad Naft, the first such partnership among subsidiaries of TAPIKO holding was signed on the sidelines of the SHASTA energy committee meeting. The signatories were Firmco Pars and Khorasan Petrochemical, in the presence of Ruhollah Shahidipour, chief executive of Tamin Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Investment Company (TAPIKO), and Ali Asghar Rajabi, director of energy and carbon at the National Iranian Gas Company.

Shahidipour called the memorandums a major step in tackling Iran’s energy imbalance. He said the agreements aim to expand investment in effective gas-efficiency projects and follow national policy on energy-demand management, reducing the natural-gas shortfall, energy security, and the company’s duty to protect national resources and pursue sustainable development.

Rajabi described the partnership among TAPIKO subsidiaries as “the start of a major effort in the country by TAPIKO” and thanked the holding’s senior managers for entering the field.

Davar Nazari, SHASTA’s deputy for innovation and the knowledge-based economy, said TAPIKO is ahead in the energy sector and called the agreements valuable. He said 14 energy-governance policies have been issued to SHASTA subsidiaries.

The agreement was signed by Razzaqi, chairman of Khorasan Petrochemical, and Mohammad Sajjad Kowsari, chief executive of Firmco Pars.
