RoydadNaft – A domestically manufactured separation decanter in the high-density polyethylene (HDPE) unit at Bandar Imam Petrochemical has entered production for the first time at the complex, after installation, commissioning, and operating tests were completed successfully.
According to Roydad Naft, the specialized equipment was prepared, installed, and put through technical and operational checks before being brought into service and taking up its role in the HDPE production process.
The project follows Bandar Imam Petrochemical’s policy of supporting Iranian manufacturing, expanding the knowledge-based economy, and making maximum use of the country’s engineering and technical capacity.
Relying on Iranian specialists and deeper cooperation with capable domestic and knowledge-based firms, Bandar Imam Petrochemical is treating homegrown equipment and technology as a strategic priority to raise self-sufficiency, cut dependence on imported machinery, and strengthen production stability.
