Iran’s Khorasan Petrochemical Posts 127 Trillion Rials in Five-Month Revenue

Khorasan Petrochemical’s operating revenue in the first five months of the Iranian year 1405 (to Aug. 22, 2026) rose 209% from a year earlier to more than 127 trillion rials, with exports accounting for 53% of sales.

RoydadNaft –  Khorasan Petrochemical’s operating revenue in the first five months of the Iranian year 1405 (to Aug. 22, 2026) rose 209% from a year earlier to more than 127 trillion rials, with exports accounting for 53% of sales.

Managing Director Eisa Norouzipour said foreign markets were a major part of the company’s economic performance, Roydad Naft reported.

In the same period the plant produced more than 405,000 tons of urea, ammonia and melamine, 5% more than a year earlier and 98% of its production budget.

Norouzipour said the rise in operating revenue together with higher output and near-full delivery of the production plan shows continued growth in both operations and finances, and credited complex staff and specialists.

Booking 127 trillion rials and sending more than half of sales abroad under sanctions, the report said, shows the company has used production capacity and export markets to manage some of the pressure on foreign trade. Continued output growth alongside higher revenue could strengthen the complex’s role in earning foreign currency and in North Khorasan’s export-oriented economy.
