RoydadNaft –  During a field visit, the CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company stressed the need to gradually restore gas-refining capacity ahead of the cold season.

According to Roydad Naft, Touraj Dehghani, CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company, visited the Phase 4 and 5, Phase 9 and 10, and Phase 14 refineries at South Pars and reviewed the progress of reconstruction work.

At a meeting on the status of those projects, Dehghani emphasized the need to recover lost capacity in stages and expressed hope that, with timely financing, part of that capacity would return to service by the end of the Iranian year (March 2027).

He said units are being rebuilt according to the extent of damage and prioritized work is under way with contractor support. Management and execution teams, he added, are focused on restoring the refineries and helping ease Iran’s gas imbalance.

Dehghani said actual progress must be checked against a work-breakdown and cost structure for the projects, funding must be injected promptly in line with work completed, and equipment reconstruction plans must be presented in full and with complete certainty so that time is not lost.
