RoydadNaft –  Iran will use all available gas and liquid-fuel production capacity to supply winter fuel, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said.

Speaking Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, on the sidelines of a meeting of the energy-imbalance task force, Paknejad told Roydad Naft that oil-industry staff will apply the sector’s full capability in gas and liquid fuels, especially gasoil.

Part of that capability will rise gradually as lost capacity is restored, he said. He expressed hope the sector can deliver the maximum possible volume on the coldest days of winter, when conditions are typically most difficult in one of the peak heating months.
