Paknejad: Iran Continues Delivering Oil to Customers
RoydadNaft – Iran’s oil minister said crude sales and deliveries are still moving outside the country’s territorial waters.
According to Roydad Naft, Mohsen Paknejad declined to discuss operational details of Iran’s crude sales and deliveries, saying the information could be exploited by adversaries if made public.
He said there had been periods when Iran was able to move a substantial volume of oil to customer delivery points.
To date, he added, sales outside Iran’s territorial waters — in distant waters, meaning actual delivery to buyers — have continued through the interval between the two naval blockades the country has already weathered.
Paknejad said the sales process has also continued after the blockade. The ministry, he added, is actively working to put the necessary measures in place so the flow can be sustained.
