Iran’s Nouri Petrochemical Posts Stellar 38% Revenue Surge in First Eight Months of 2025

Nouri Petrochemical Company, Iran’s largest aromatics producer, posted a stellar 38% revenue surge to 140 trillion rials ($2.4 billion) in the eight months to November 21, 2025, marking a sharp jump from 101 trillion rials a year earlier.

RoydadNaft –  based Nouri Petrochemical Company, Iran’s largest aromatics producer, reported a blockbuster performance for the eight-month period from March 21 to November 21, 2025, with total revenue leaping 38% year-on-year to 140 trillion rials (around $2.4 billion at open-market rates), compared with 101 trillion rials in the same period of 2024.

Domestic sales soared 43% from 77 trillion rials to 110 trillion rials, while export revenue rose 23% from 25 trillion rials to 30 trillion rials, despite ongoing sanctions and fluctuating global prices.

Sales volume increased 2% to 3.203 million tonnes from 3.133 million tonnes a year earlier. Production jumped 6% to 3.421 million tonnes from 3.229 million tonnes.

The standout metric that truly stands out: the plant operated at a record 113% of nameplate capacity during the period — a six-percentage-point improvement over the 107% achieved in the previous year.

Company executives credited the results to sustained production stability, rapid product-mix adjustments, optimal feedstock utilization, and smart pricing strategies in both domestic and international markets.

“This outstanding performance once again confirms Nouri Petrochemical’s position as one of the most efficient and resilient players in Iran’s petrochemical industry,” the company said in its statement.
