Iran self-sufficient in producing jet fuel: NIOPDC

RoydadNaft – The head of National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) says the country’s refineries are fully capable of meeting the needs for airplane fuel and Iran does not need to import such products, IRNA reported.
Keramat Veis-Karami put the country’s average daily jet fuel production in the past two years at about 4.0 million tons, saying: “In [the Iranian calendar year] 1401 (ended in late March 2023), more than 1.467 billion liters of fuel were delivered to 198,000 airplanes, and in [the Iranian year] 1402 (ended in late March 2024), more than 1.463 billion liters were delivered to 21,000 airplanes.”
