NIOC Improving Fars Province Infrastructures

The manager of NIOC’s Directorate Of Supervision On Southern Oil-Rich Regions Construction Projects, Babak Darabi, says as much as 40 thousand billion rials, Iranian currency, have been allocated to implementation of construction projects in Fars province.

RoydadNaft –  The manager of NIOC’s Directorate Of Supervision On Southern Oil-Rich Regions Construction Projects, Babak Darabi, says as much as 40 thousand billion rials, Iranian currency, have been allocated to implementation of construction projects in Fars province.

Speaking at a meeting with Fars province governor, Babak Darabi said the directorate is determined to complete ongoing roads and tunnels construction projects in the province before the end of next Iranian calendar year, on 20 March 2026.

“Completion of these projects will facilitate movement from Assaluyeh, host of natural gas processing plants in south of Iran, to the central regions of the country and vice versa”, Babak Darabi said.

He continued: NIOC intends to improve the situation of the existing infrastructures in the deprived regions of the province, helping peoples living in these areas to have access to better facilities; an initiative that has been defined by NIOC as the social responsibilities of the company.

Elsewhere in his remarks he said that over the last year, when the Iranian president visited the province for the first time after taking office in August 2021, 20 thousand billion rials were allocated to implementation of 830 social responsibilities projects in the province, of which 330 projects were completed.

 In his turn, Fars province governor, Mohammadhadi Imaniyeh, announced that during the Iranian president’s second visit to the province, the amount of credit to the  province, under the social responsibilities terms, increased considerably standing at 40 thousand billion rials, covering implementation of projects all over the province.

“All these projects include projects that are related to the inhabitants welfare, solving the shortages the people face in the province like roads, health, sports, schools and improving the quality of life in rural areas”, he concluded.
