RoydadNaft –  During a trip to Razavi Khorasan Province, Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi reviewed the latest status of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group’s renewable projects in the province and follow-up on their development and execution.

According to Roydad Naft, the minister thanked the group for its approach and support in expanding renewable power capacity in Iran, stressed the need to speed the projects, and issued the orders needed to remove obstacles to schemes under way and in development in Razavi Khorasan.

Projects now under construction or follow-up by Persian Gulf Renewable Energy Development Company in the province total more than 350 megawatts. Under the plan, the first 20 megawatts of these plants will be connected to the grid by October 22, 2026.

The Razavi Khorasan package is part of the group’s wider program to raise renewable power and secure energy for its industries. Besides cutting industry’s dependence on grid electricity, it can support clean-power growth and help ease Iran’s energy imbalance.
