RoydadNaft –  Jam Pilen Petrochemical and the Bushehr Province Welfare Department have signed a memorandum to support top students under welfare coverage. The “Growing Tomorrows” campaign is meant as a model for industry to play a clearer role in building human capital in the region.

According to Roydad Naft, citing the company’s public relations office, the memorandum was signed by Hossein Bargahi, chief executive and vice chairman of Jam Pilen, and Mehrnaz Eskandari, director-general of welfare in Bushehr Province. It aims to strengthen social responsibility, widen education opportunities, and develop outstanding talent among the welfare department’s target group in the province.

The cooperation was signed on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in the company’s conference hall, with welfare managers from the industry host counties of Assaluyeh, Jam, Kangan, and Dayer, and a group of Jam Pilen managers. Eligible students under coverage will receive educational support.

Under the memorandum, support will include teaching and tutoring, academic counseling, educational equipment, backing for academic programs, and, within approved rules and budgets, grants or scholarships.

The campaign is built on the view that social responsibility is not limited to one-off financial aid. Identifying talent, opening opportunities, and clearing a path for growth is an investment in a community’s most important asset: capable people.

In that approach, a gifted student is not only a recipient of help but can later become an engineer, specialist, entrepreneur, manager, or an influential part of the regional workforce.

Through the memorandum, Jam Pilen is trying to put part of its social responsibility into talent development and education, with effects that can outlast a short-term grant and show up in a person’s life, a family, and the region’s future development.

The campaign is also framed as the start of a collective effort that needs economic, industrial, and social groups in the province to join. The region’s future will be built by these students, and support for today’s talent is an investment in tomorrow.

Jam Pilen’s program opens joint work with Bushehr welfare to identify and support outstanding students in a targeted way. Other companies could turn that into a wider social-responsibility effort.

“Growing Tomorrows” is presented not only as a memorandum but as an invitation for any company or organization concerned about the country’s future to take a share in building it.
