RoydadNaft –   The CEO of Tehran Oil Refining Company has emphasized the strategic position of Rey Energy Complex in the country’s oil value chain.

According to Roydad Naft, Abbas Mohseni Nikogoftar, CEO of Tehran Oil Refining Company, met and held talks with the CEOs of several oil companies as part of his ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with stakeholders and neighboring industries.

The meeting, held at the Rey Energy Complex to enhance technical cooperation and address process-related obstacles, underscored the need for greater synergy to ensure sustained and stable production.

Referring to the strategic position of Rey Energy Complex in the country’s oil value chain, Mohseni Nikogoftar said: “Interaction among the companies operating in this complex enhances operational capacities and creates synergy in pursuit of broader production objectives. Tehran Refinery is always ready, within the framework of technical and legal regulations, to help remove production barriers and facilitate the processes of neighboring companies.”

He added: “Our approach at Tehran Refinery is to move beyond siloed thinking and toward strategic partnerships with business partners and industrial neighbors, thereby improving the efficiency of the entire supply chain.”

The meeting addressed a range of technical and operational issues, including the finalization and signing of utility contracts and the facilitation of technical processes related to the receipt of lob-cut as the primary feedstock for production units. The necessary decisions were made to accelerate the implementation of these agreements.

The CEOs of the oil companies welcomed the Tehran Refinery CEO’s collaborative approach and expressed hope that the implementation of the agreements would lead to stronger cooperation and the resolution of operational concerns at Rey Energy Complex.

Held in a cordial atmosphere, the meeting was viewed as part of policies aimed at strengthening ties between upstream and downstream industries and addressing the infrastructure concerns of companies operating at Rey Energy Complex.

A short time earlier, as part of Tehran Oil Refining Company’s key programs to promote constructive engagement with major stakeholders across the refining industry’s value chain, the company’s CEO had also met with his counterpart at the National Iranian Oil Company, one of the major consumers of Tehran Refinery’s products. The two sides discussed the development of strategic cooperation, the stable supply of feedstock, and the modernization of business engagement models.
