Iran’s Foreign Ministry and TAPICO Push to Ease Gas Imbalance via Turkmen Imports

Iran’s Social Security oil and energy holdings met the Foreign Ministry’s economic deputy to try to clear obstacles to gas imports from Turkmenistan, as part of efforts to ease the country’s energy imbalance.

RoydadNaft –  Iran’s Social Security oil and energy holdings met the Foreign Ministry’s economic deputy to try to clear obstacles to gas imports from Turkmenistan, as part of efforts to ease the country’s energy imbalance.

Ruhollah Shahidipour, CEO of TAPICO (Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Co.), and Bahman Salehi Javid, CEO of TEDCO (Tamin Energy Development Co.), held the meeting with Hamid Ghanbari, the ministry’s economic deputy, Roydad Naft reported, citing TAPICO.

Also present were Bojnurd lawmaker Seyed Mohammad Pakmehr, Khorasan Petrochemical board chairman Hossein Razzaqi, and TAPICO deputies and managers.

TAPICO’s CEO had recently discussed the winter energy imbalance facing Khorasan Petrochemical and other industries in North Khorasan with the provincial governor.
