Iran has the capacity to meet Pakistan’s oil and gas needs

Emphasizing that we are ready to enhance comprehensive cooperation with Pakistan, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran said: “Iran has the necessary capacities to meet Pakistan’s needs in various fields, including oil, gas and electricity.”

“We are ready to promote comprehensive cooperation with Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said Seyed Ibrahim Ra’isi in a meeting with Pakistani Foreign Minister Blaul Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday evening (June 24). Iran has the capacity to meet Pakistan’s needs in various fields, including oil, gas and electricity.

He called the fields of energy, transit cooperation and coordination in regional issues and crises as important aspects of the relations between the two countries and added: “Discussions on these issues should become decisions and documents of cooperation.”

Expressing satisfaction with the visit to Iran, the Pakistani Foreign Minister said: “We are fully prepared to complete and conclude the previous talks in the fields of security, trade and energy.”
