17,000-Bpd Increase in Oil Production at Iran’s Southern Oilfields

Daily oil production from Iran’s Shadegan Oil Field has increased by 17,000 barrels following the successful completion of the first production target under the field’s development and production contract.

RoydadNaft –   Daily oil production from Iran’s Shadegan Oil Field has increased by 17,000 barrels following the successful completion of the first production target under the field’s development and production contract.

Ramin Hatami, CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), announced that daily oil production capacity at the Shadegan Oil Field has increased by 17,000 barrels following the achievement of the first production target under the field’s development and production contract.

Referring to the successful achievement of the first production target under the Shadegan Field Development and Production Contract (FTP), Hatami said a successful test to reach the targeted production level increased output from about 98,000 barrels per day to more than 115,000 barrels per day, adding approximately 17,000 barrels per day to the field’s production capacity.

He said the test began on September 10, 2026, and was successfully completed on September 28, 2026, during which the targeted production level of more than 115,000 barrels of oil per day was achieved.

The NISOC CEO added that achieving the target represents an important operational milestone for the Shadegan Field development project, while also marking an effective step toward meeting the project’s first-phase objectives and sustaining investment and development activities at the field.
