RoydadNaft –  Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company CEO Mohammad Shariatmadari held an emergency meeting as PGPIC’s general assembly nears and a new board is due to be set for Iran’s largest petrochemical group.

The intensive talks follow a presidential instruction that disputes between the Oil Ministry and the holding be settled in direct meetings, Roydad Naft reported, citing Fars.

Given the assembly timetable and the sensitivity of the new board lineup, the eleventh-hour session could shift decisions and the management structure of the petrochemical giant.
