Acidizing operation on Seventh Well of SP Phase 11 completed
RoydadNaft – The project manager for the development of Phase 11 of South Pars announced the completion of the acidizing operation on the seventh well of the SPD11B platform in the shared South Pars gas field.
Mohammadreza Rajaei noted that the seventh well (Well No. 12) of the SPD11B platform became operational in early-November.
He stated that after preparing and pressure testing the acid lines, the acidizing operation for this well was successfully carried out on Tuesday using the Deep Cleaner acidizing vessel.
The process aimed to maximize gas production capacity, and further flowback operations are underway to clean the well.
Rajaei emphasized that acidizing operations enhance production efficiency and well performance.
He added that these efforts will improve gas flow, boost productivity, and increase daily gas output from Phase 11 of South Pars.
The development of Phase 11 is the final expansion project in the South Pars gas field, located near the shared border with Qatar.
