South Pars Gas Complex CEO: SP refineries inject 585 mcm of gas daily into national network

South Pars Gas Complex's managing director reports full capacity of refineries, delivering over 855 million cubic meters of gas daily to the national network.

RoydadNaft –  The managing director of South Pars Gas Complex announced that the refineries are operating at full capacity to ensure a stable gas supply during the cold season as daily, over 855 million cubic meters of gas are delivered to the national network, with South Pars refineries contributing more than 585 million cubic meters.

Gholamabbas Hosseini stated that the staff and experts at the 13 South Pars refineries are working tirelessly to maximize and stabilize gas production.

“Through innovative measures and the use of domestically produced components and equipment, 585 mcm of gas are injected daily from the complex into the national pipeline,” he said, noting the refineries currently produce 613 mcm of gas daily.

Hosseini added that all refineries in the first and second sites of South Pars are operating at full capacity.

“Refineries in Site 1 are producing over 333 mcm of gas daily, while Site 2 refineries are generating more than 252 mcm,” he explained.

Addressing the gas supplied to the national network from the start of the current Iranian year (March 20) to late December, Hosseini said: “Thanks to innovative initiatives and high-quality maintenance efforts, South Pars Gas Complex has delivered over 143 billion cubic meters of sweet gas to the national grid since the beginning of the year.”

He concluded, “We are fully committed to maintaining stable gas production and supply to the national network, noting with teamwork, coordination, and collaboration with the National Iranian Gas Company, we are confident we can successfully pass these challenging times.
