The final stages of completing the second phase of one of Iran’s largest petrochemical complexes in South Pars

Bushehr Petrochemical Complex with the prospect of being the largest petrochemical complex in the region for the production of olefinic, polyolefinic, methanol, sulfur, ethylene glycols and acid products is being completed and operated.

The products produced in this complex are first exported through Makhazen Sabz Petrochemical  and then through the existing docks.

Dr. Hatami, Managing Director of Bushehr Petrochemical Company, said: This complex is based on a value chain that includes the sweetening of the received sour gas to the production of polyethylene. Currently, the first phase has brought an income of 420 million dollars per year, and it is expected that the operation of the second phase will add 270 million dollars to this number.

Dr. Abbasi, Managing Director of Shastan Commercial Investment Company, also said: The Social Security Organization of the Armed Forces supports its investment companies so that these projects under construction are completed and they play a role in the country’s production and economy.

In addition, Dr. Ibn Al-Reza, CEO of Armed Forces Social Security Organization, while appreciating the brilliant and wide-ranging measures taken in a short period of three months, said regarding the continuation of the implementation process: we will take steps in order to make fundamental decisions in order to solve the bottlenecks of the company in the field of production and development, the positive and leaping results of which will be well visible and obvious in the short term.
