IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami appointed Brigadier General Abdolreza Abed as the new commander of Khatam-al Anbiya Construction Headquarters.

General Abed has been the commander of the Islamic Revelution Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran’s western Kordestan province during the Sacred Defense and has commanded many IRGC engineering units.

Brigadier General Abed was named as the new commander of the Khatam al-Anbia Construction Headquarters in a ceremony in attended by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami and other officials in Tehran on Monday.

Seyed Hossein Housh Al Sadat was the former commander of Khatam-al Anbiya Construction Headquarters (KAA).

The Khatam-al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters was established in 1989 upon an order by Supreme Leader and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
