The construction of 2 petrochemical projects with a capacity of 5 million tons was started in Lamard

On the sidelines of the exhibition “Supporting domestic production in the petrochemical industries of Iran” and in line with the final horizon of the Lamard Special Economic Zone, a contract was signed for the construction of two petrochemical projects with an annual production of five million tons of various products in this zone.

The annual production of five million tons of petrochemical products is considered in the final horizon of this region. For this purpose, 400 hectares of the land of this industrial center have been allocated for the construction of petrochemical centers.

For this purpose, two huge petrochemical projects, namely “Cyclo” investment and “Nagin Almas” petrochemical project, with an investment volume of 37 thousand billion Rials and 180 million dollars in foreign currency, will create a great development in the industry and economy of the region in the direction of national interests.

With the establishment of these petrochemical industries, 500 people will work directly and 3,500 people will work indirectly in these industries.

The proximity of Lamard Special Economic Zone to gas fields and Pars Asalouye Port as well as Parsian Port in Hormozgan province is a valuable advantage for Lamard Special Economic Zone and petrochemical industry activists.

Lamard Special Economic Zone is one of the complexes covered by the Development and Modernization Organization of Mines and Mineral Industries of Iran (IMIDRO) in the south of Fars province, which is adjacent to Hormozgan and Bushehr provinces (Assaluyeh).
