The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, appreciating the efforts of former members of the company’s board of directors, said: “The board of directors, as a think tank, has an important role in policy-making and guidance in the company. Mohsen Khojastehmehr in the meeting of honoring and introducing the former and new members of the company’s board of directors, which was held on Sunday (June 22), referring to the importance of the board members in the policy-making and decision-making process in the company, said: The board of directors has an important part of the duties in the company and the Ministry of Oil, and this is due to the expert opinion of its members.

He added: “The board members are constantly thinking about the growth and development of the company and are working to progress and advance the goals, and I need to appreciate the actions and activities of the former board members.”

The Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Oil Company, stating that in the conditions of sanctions and economic war, the activities of the Board of Directors are more important, continued: It must be considered with the concurrence of different elements.

Khojasteh Mehr added: “Making the right decisions and supervising the correct and right implementation of these decisions by the company’s pillars, as well as defending the company’s sovereignty is another duty of the board of directors.”

In the final part of the meeting, the former members of the board of directors presented various actions and points, and the services and efforts of Zahra Goodarzi, Seyed Saleh Hindi, Saeed Khoshrou and Akbar Soheilipour were praised.

Hormoz Qaland, Karim Zubeidi, Seyyed Hojjatollah Alam al-Huda, Mohammad Reza Naqibi and Mohammad Rousta were introduced as main members and Farrokh Alikhani and Fereydoun Kordzanganeh were introduced as alternate members of the board of directors of the National Iranian Oil Company.

It is worth mentioning that last year, the Minister of Oil, Javad Oji, appointed Mohsen Khojastehmehr as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Iranian Oil Company.
