China’s Wang Yi Pledges Deeper Oil, Gas Ties with UAE During Middle East Tour
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met in Abu Dhabi to pledge deeper cooperation in investment, energy, and infrastructure.
RoydadNaft – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with his United Arab Emirates counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi on Friday, pledging to deepen bilateral cooperation in key areas including investment, oil and gas, and infrastructure, according to a statement from China’s foreign ministry released on Saturday.
The meeting marked the start of Wang’s three-nation tour of the Middle East.
During the discussions, Wang emphasized China’s commitment to enhancing ties with the UAE.
“China is willing to strengthen high-level exchanges with the UAE, consolidate political mutual trust and elevate bilateral relations,” Wang said.
