Iran appoints new representative to OPEC Board, IEF
Iranian oil minister Ali-Mohammad Mousavi has been appointed as Iran's representative to various international bodies, including OPEC, GECF, and IEF.
RoydadNaft – The Iranian minister of oil appointed Ali-Mohammad Mousavi as the new representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the OPEC Board of Governors, the Executive Board of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), and the International Energy Forum (IEF).
In a letter sent on Monday to the secretaries-general of OPEC, GECF, and the IEF, Mohsen Paknejad officially introduced Mousavi, who currently serves as the deputy minister for international affairs and commerce at the Ministry of Oil.
Previously, Afshin Javan had been acting as the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the OPEC Board and IEF.
