Iraq’s oil exports to US rose to 178,000 barrels per day last week
RoydadNaft – The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to the United States rose last week.
The EIA mentioned that the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from nine major countries reached approximately 5.55 million barrels per day, a decline of 420,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, where US oil imports reached around 5.97 million barrels per day, Shafaq News reported.
Iraq’s oil exports to the United States reached 178,000 barrels per day last week, an increase of 28,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, when Iraq exported 150,000 barrels per day.
The EIA indicated that most of the United States imports of crude oil during the past week came from Canada at an average of 4.03 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with an average of 504,000 barrels per day and Saudi Arabia with an average of 144,000 barrels per day.
The United States imported an average of 144,000 barrels per day from Libya, 113,000 barrels per day from Nigeria, and 71,000 barrels per day from Brazil.
