RoydadNaft –  Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi has urged the country’s power plants to speed up overhaul operations and fuel storage to be prepared for the next peak consumption period, IRNA reported.

Speaking at a meeting of the ministry’s electricity officials on Monday, Aliabadi emphasized the necessity of convergence and synergy among all the companies under the Ministry of Energy to succeed in advancing the goals of the electricity industry, and said: “Planning to get through the current winter and next summer peak periods, conducting timely overhauls of power plants, and implementing electricity transmission and distribution projects are the priorities of the Ministry of Energy.”
