RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Iran\u2019s Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Rouhollah Dehqani Firouzabadi on Monday said a 500-million-euro contract has been signed with the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC).<\/p>\n

Speaking in a special TV program on the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN) titled \u201cKnowledge-Based Companies\u2019 Capability for Meeting Industries\u2019 Needs\u201d, the VP added 12 groups of strategic products, based on the contract, will be made within four years.<\/p>\n

Last year, he continued, the Presidential Department of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the oil sector signed a five-year contract worth around $2 billion on manufacturing seven groups of products.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s homegrown products exhibition was held through the efforts made by the economic group of the Leader\u2019s Office, mentioned the official, adding its approach was completely different from the last edition as achievements were displayed in an organizational category last year but this year\u2019s exhibition showcased achievements in different fields of economy including energy, water and the environment, health and medical equipment, and the like.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
