RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Dock No. 17 of Assaluyeh Port in Iran\u2019s southern province of Bushehr and the first domestically-built cryogenic loading arm were put into operation in the presence of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) managing director.<\/p>\n

Speaking during a ceremony, NPC CEO Morteza Shahmirzaei said, \u201cI proudly announce that the first cryogenic loading arm, which was before manufactured by a few Western countries, has been made, installed, and put into operation by Iranian engineers and experts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iran\u2019s petrochemical industry is about to stand at the summit and become self-sufficient in acquiring technical know-how and making necessary equipment and products, added the deputy oil minister, continuing it is a matter of pride that the first ammonia cargo was loaded at Dock No. 17.<\/p>\n

Given NPC\u2019s strategy on credit supply of petrochemical products aimed at supporting downstream industries and manufacturers, domestic supply will rise by around 1.3 million tons, he pointed out.<\/p>\n

More than 100 petrochemical projects are underway, said Shahmirzaei, adding they will come on stream one after another.<\/p>\n

The NPC chief observed the operations of installing homegrown heat exchangers and process equipment of Dena petrochemical and Jam cold box projects during his one-day visit to Assaluyeh.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
