RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>\u00a0Russians lauded engineering operations Iranian experts carried out in the development project of Phase 11 of the South Pars (SP) gas field, said President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The president, who talked during his second visit to Alborz Province, 20km west of Tehran, one day after his return from Moscow, added a Russian official said the SP Phase 11 project was a \u201cgreat\u201d task and should be publicized.<\/p>\n

Raeisi said the project was a big risk taken by Iranian experts, who did the great job after foreign companies such as TotalEnergies and Shell withdrew from it.<\/p>\n

In late August, the president inaugurated the SP Phase 11 in southern Iran after a 20-year hiatus.<\/p>\n

Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Company Mohsen Khojastehmehr described transportation and relocation of a 3,200-ton platform installed at Phase 11 as \u201cunparalleled\u201d in Iran\u2019s oil industry in terms of execution and complexity.<\/p>\n

Phase 11 is the farthest border section of South Pars gas field Iran shares with Qatar in the Persian Gulf waters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
