RoydadNaft – <\/a><\/span>Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has said that Iran’s government has put on the agenda developing relations with Central Asia.<\/p>\n

Improving relations with neighboring countries is the main priority of the government’s foreign policy, Raisi told reporters before leaving Tehran for Tajikistan on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Statistics show that the level of relations between Iran and Tajikistan has improved, he added.<\/p>\n

This trip aims to strengthen political, economic, and cultural relations between Tehran and Dushanbe.<\/p>\n

Following his visit to\u00a0Dushanbe, he will make a trip to\u00a0Uzbekistan to take part in the 16th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).<\/p>\n

The trip to Tashkent is at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is also the rotating chairman of the ECO.<\/p>\n

The economic link between ECO members will be the most important topic of the meeting at the 16th ECO Summit, he noted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
