{"id":8542,"date":"2023-11-06T14:38:28","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T14:38:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=8542"},"modified":"2023-11-06T14:38:28","modified_gmt":"2023-11-06T14:38:28","slug":"iran-among-main-energy-actors-in-world-nioc-chief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/8542\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran among Main Energy Actors in World: NIOC Chief"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\"><p><span class=\"pre-content-text\"><a style=\"color: #0038a8;\" href=\"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/\">RoydadNaft &#8211; <\/a><\/span>\u00a0The chief executive of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said main actors determine the future of the world\u2019s energy, adding that in Iran, as one of the main players, opportunities have been provided for investing $250 billion in the oil industry within the next eight years.<\/p>\n<div class=\"story\" data-readmoretitle=\"Read more\">\n<p>Speaking\u00a0Monday in a meeting on the first day of the 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0China International Import Expo (CIIE),\u00a0\u00a0Mohsen Khojastehmehr noted that participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this exhibition indicates the country&#8217;s widespread economic interactions, especially in the field of energy and international trade.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, senior managers and international guests of the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition shows the commitment of Iran and China\u00a0to develop bilateral cooperation and appropriate relations between Iran\u2019s domestic market and\u00a0China\u2019s market, Khojastehmeh emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are seeking to set up a stable platform at a strategic level and also create a proper market-based business environment in the international arena.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trade and business between Iran and China are on an upward trajectory, he said, adding that\u00a0Iran showed in practice that it has a safe, reliable and stable market in the field of energy trade.<\/p>\n<p>Iran ranks first in the world in terms of rich oil and gas reserves and has about 340 billion barrels of crude oil, he stated, adding that these valuable reserves require an investment of about $250 billion in the upstream and downstream sectors for the next 8 years.<\/p>\n<p>The 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0CIIE kicked off in\u00a0Shanghai on November 5 and will run through November 10.
