{"id":7008,"date":"2023-08-14T14:02:10","date_gmt":"2023-08-14T14:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=7008"},"modified":"2023-08-14T14:02:11","modified_gmt":"2023-08-14T14:02:11","slug":"36b-of-projects-defined-to-improve-energy-efficiency-oji","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/7008\/","title":{"rendered":"$36b of projects defined to improve energy efficiency: Oji"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>Roydad Naft News Agency \u2013 Iranian Energy Minister Javad Oji said on Monday that the country\u2019s Supreme Economic Council has defined new projects with a total investment of $36 billion to improve energy consumption efficiency in various sectors, Shana reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Iran Energy Efficiency Conference (IREEC 2023), Oji said: \u201cIf we work well in optimizing consumption, most of the country\u2019s energy imbalance will be compensated.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The imbalance between supply and demand in the oil and gas industry is an important issue, whose resolution requires increasing production and optimizing consumption, the minister stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oji put the country\u2019s current crude oil production at 3.19 million barrels per day (bpd), saying that Iran\u2019s oil production capacity, however, is about 3.850 million bpd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further put the country\u2019s total natural gas production at over 1,000 million cubic meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mentioning the completion of $15 billion worth of semi-finished oil projects in the previous Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20), Oji said: \u201cOver $12 billion worth of semi-finished projects will also be put into operation this year, which will increase the production of gas, oil, and petroleum products.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-08-14T14:02:11+00:00\"> 14 August 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Roydad Naft News Agency \u2013 Iranian Energy Minister Javad Oji said on Monday that the country\u2019s Supreme Economic Council has defined new projects with a total investment of $36 billion to improve energy consumption efficiency in various sectors, Shana reported.
