{"id":6934,"date":"2023-08-09T12:21:25","date_gmt":"2023-08-09T12:21:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=6934"},"modified":"2023-08-09T12:21:26","modified_gmt":"2023-08-09T12:21:26","slug":"adnoc-gas-awards-3-6-billion-contract-to-expand-uae-gas-processing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/6934\/","title":{"rendered":"ADNOC Gas awards $3.6 billion contract to expand UAE gas processing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>Roydad Naft News Agency &#8211; State oil giant Abu Dhabi National Oil Company&#8217;s gas unit, ADNOC Gas, said on Wednesday it awarded a $3.6 billion contract to expand its gas processing infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contract was given to a joint venture between National Petroleum Construction Company Co PJSC (NPCC), owned by Abu Dhabi state fund ADQ, and Spain&#8217;s Tecnicas Reunidas, ADNOC Gas said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new gas processing facilities will allow an &#8220;optimized supply&#8221; to the Ruwais Industrial Complex in Abu Dhabi&#8217;s western Al Dhafra region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ADNOC Gas&#8217; Maximizing Ethane Recovery and Monetization project aims to boost ethane extraction by 35%-40% from its onshore facilities in the Habshan complex by building new processing facilities, as well as &#8220;unlock further value&#8221; from existing feedstock, delivering it to Ruwais through a 120-km (75 miles) natural gas liquids pipeline, the firm added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ADNOC said over 70% of the contract&#8217;s value would &#8220;flow back into the UAE&#8217;s economy&#8221;.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-08-09T12:21:26+00:00\"> 9 August 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Roydad Naft News Agency &#8211; State oil giant Abu Dhabi National Oil Company&#8217;s gas unit, ADNOC Gas, said on Wednesday it awarded a $3.6 billion contract to expand its gas processing infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates.
