{"id":6861,"date":"2023-08-05T12:47:37","date_gmt":"2023-08-05T12:47:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=6861"},"modified":"2023-08-05T12:47:38","modified_gmt":"2023-08-05T12:47:38","slug":"canada-based-trillion-energy-to-explore-oil-in-southeastern-turkiye","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/6861\/","title":{"rendered":"Canada-based Trillion Energy to explore oil in southeastern T\u00fcrkiye"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>Canada-based energy company Trillion Energy has announced that it has entered into a farm-in agreement with Derkim Poli\u00fcretan Sanayi to earn a 50 percent working and revenue interest in three\u00a0oil\u00a0exploration blocks within the Cudi-Gabar petroleum province in southeastern T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cudi-Gabar province is central to an active petroleum system extending up from Iraq and Syria, where T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s portion contains several major oil fields including \u015eehit Esma \u00c7evik, discovered in 2022 and \u015eehit Ayb\u00fcke Yal\u00e7\u0131n, discovered in 2023, the company said in statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trillion\u2019s farm-in obligations -sole exploration phase- are 351 kilometers of 2D seismic in 2023 followed by drilling four oil exploration wells in 2024, the statement added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sole exploration phase is expected to cost Trillion about $16 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exploration term for the Western Blocks extends until May 17, 2027, while the exploration term for the Eastern Block extends until Dec. 16, 2028, the company said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eastern Block is approximately 15 kilometers by 30 kilometers in size and is approximately 12 kilometers from the \u015eehit Ayb\u00fcke Yal\u00e7\u0131n Oil Field at Mount Gabar.
