{"id":6586,"date":"2023-07-17T12:02:43","date_gmt":"2023-07-17T12:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=6586"},"modified":"2023-07-17T12:03:47","modified_gmt":"2023-07-17T12:03:47","slug":"raeisi-energy-cooperation-with-pakistan-among-irans-strategies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/6586\/","title":{"rendered":"Raeisi: Energy cooperation with Pakistan among Iran\u2019s strategies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>Roydad Naft News Agency &#8211; Iran\u2019s President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi here on Sunday referred to energy cooperation with Pakistan and development of markets on the two neighbors\u2019 shared border as one of the strategies of his country to make a safe and economically thriving frontier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He made the remarks in a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, adding Iran has given top priority to the expansion of relations with neighboring and Muslim countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAccelerating the implementation of agreements between the two countries will further promote economic and commercial cooperation between Iran and Pakistan and consequently political ties between the two neighbors,\u201d Raeisi mentioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The president also pointed to the enemies\u2019 efforts to disrupt relations between regional states, calling for boosting bilateral and regional cooperation and interactions by using existing opportunities and sharing each other\u2019s capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>General Munir, for his part, appreciated Iran\u2019s policy on cementing ties with neighboring states, particularly Pakistan, describing it as an invaluable opportunity for the Islamic world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pointing to the long frontier between the two countries and their high capacities for border transactions, the general said economic and commercial exchanges on the shared border will improve security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good agreements have been reached to strengthen security along the common border, added Munir, concluding, \u201cOur efforts are focused on speeding up the measures for establishing sustainable security.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-07-17T12:03:47+00:00\"> 17 July 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Roydad Naft News Agency &#8211; Iran\u2019s President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi here on Sunday referred to energy cooperation with Pakistan and development of markets on the two neighbors\u2019 shared border as one of the strategies of his country to make a safe and economically thriving frontier.
