{"id":6233,"date":"2023-06-26T14:04:03","date_gmt":"2023-06-26T14:04:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=6233"},"modified":"2023-06-26T14:06:05","modified_gmt":"2023-06-26T14:06:05","slug":"cheniere-signs-lng-supply-deal-with-chinas-enn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/6233\/","title":{"rendered":"Cheniere signs LNG supply deal with China&#8217;s ENN"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>Roydad Naft News Agency &#8211; Cheniere Energy\u00a0said on Monday it will supply 1.8 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per annum to China&#8217;s ENN Natural Gas\u00a0for over 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The United States has emerged as the world&#8217;s largest LNG exporter after Western sanctions on major supplier Russia left Europe scrambling to find alternate sources for the commodity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, ENN had signed a 13-year deal to buy LNG from Cheniere beginning in July 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That was the first major binding deal for natural gas between the two nations since a long-standing trade war which brought gas deals between the two countries to a temporary standstill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cheniere\u00a0said\u00a0deliveries will start in mid-2026, ramping up to 0.9 million tonne per annum (mtpa) in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delivery of the remaining 0.9 mtpa is subject to Cheniere&#8217;s positive final investment decision with respect to the Sabine Pass Liquefaction Expansion Project in Louisiana.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-06-26T14:06:05+00:00\"> 26 June 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Roydad Naft News Agency &#8211; Cheniere Energy\u00a0said on Monday it will supply 1.8 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per annum to China&#8217;s ENN Natural Gas\u00a0for over 20 years.
