{"id":6010,"date":"2023-06-14T15:18:43","date_gmt":"2023-06-14T15:18:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=6010"},"modified":"2023-06-14T15:22:34","modified_gmt":"2023-06-14T15:22:34","slug":"iran-unveils-rfcc-catalyst-in-major-leap-for-oil-refining","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/6010\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran unveils RFCC catalyst in major leap for oil refining"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>Roydad Naft News Agency &#8211; Iran has marked its latest achievement in the oil refining industry with the unveiling of a residue fluid catalytic cracking (RFCC) catalyst at Imam Khomeini Oil Refinery in central Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the unveiling ceremony on Wednesday, the refinery\u2019s CEO, Majid Rajabi, said the RFCC unit has been designed to produce gasoline, liquefied gas, and light diesel, with a daily capacity of 94,370 barrels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis unit utilizes the fluid catalytic cracking process and is currently the largest FCC (fluid catalytic cracking) unit in the country,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe unit has been specifically designed to produce a maximum amount of high-octane gasoline, capable of producing 8 million liters of gasoline,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rajabi emphasized that the RFCC unit could meet the needs of other oil refineries in Iran, streamlining their operations and making them more cost-effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imam Khomeini Oil Refinery was established in 1993 and became the largest single-unit refinery in Iran with a nominal capacity of 150,000 barrels per day (bpd).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The refinery\u2019s capacity has increased to 250,000 bpd and is currently a major producer of Euro-4 grade gasoline in Iran.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-06-14T15:22:34+00:00\"> 14 June 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Roydad Naft News Agency &#8211; Iran has marked its latest achievement in the oil refining industry with the unveiling of a residue fluid catalytic cracking (RFCC) catalyst at Imam Khomeini Oil Refinery in central Iran.
