{"id":5598,"date":"2023-05-24T13:16:23","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T13:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=5598"},"modified":"2023-05-24T13:17:15","modified_gmt":"2023-05-24T13:17:15","slug":"tajikistan-calls-for-iran-to-cooperate-in-oil-gas-industry-armenia-says-needs-iran-expertise-to-build-refinery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/5598\/","title":{"rendered":"Tajikistan calls for Iran to cooperate in oil, gas industry; Armenia says needs Iran expertise to build refinery"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>Tajikistan\u2019s ambassador on Wednesday said his country is keen to cooperate with Iran in the oil and gas industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nizomiddin Zohidi called for Iran to train human resources and share its experience in upstream and downstream sectors of the oil industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambassador, who attended a joint meeting between managers of Iran\u2019s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) and the Ministry of Petroleum\u2019s International Affairs Department and ambassadors of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), said the Iranian people are proud of great progress made in their oil industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iran has turned all threats into opportunities while its oil industry has fought brutal Western sanctions for more than 40 years, praised the diplomat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Iran-Armenia cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia\u2019s Commercial Attach\u00e9 Vardan Kostanyan, who was also present in the meeting, pointed to his country\u2019s favorable cooperation with Iran in barter of energy and electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also referred to the extension of the contract on exports of Iran\u2019s gas to Armenia and added, \u201cIranian traders are the leading suppliers of petrochemical products to Armenia.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Kostanyan, an Iranian trade center will be set up in Armenia in the near future, of which 2,000 square meters will supply petrochemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attach\u00e9 said Armenia is eager to use the expertise of Iranian companies and contractors to construct an oil refinery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, Iran supplies 90 percent of bitumen Armenia needs, said the attach\u00e9, adding it could be even more.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-05-24T13:17:15+00:00\"> 24 May 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Tajikistan\u2019s ambassador on Wednesday said his country is keen to cooperate with Iran in the oil and gas industry.
