{"id":5476,"date":"2023-05-18T14:20:06","date_gmt":"2023-05-18T14:20:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=5476"},"modified":"2023-05-18T14:22:05","modified_gmt":"2023-05-18T14:22:05","slug":"nioc-gazprom-discuss-investment-in-oil-gas-development-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/5476\/","title":{"rendered":"NIOC, Gazprom discuss investment in oil, gas development projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>The National Iranian Oil Company head and Russian state company Gazprom deputy chairman held talks on investment patterns for development of oil and gas fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NIOC CEO Mohsen Khojastehmehr and Gazprom\u2019s Vitaly Markelov also discussed their cooperation in line with the $40 billion memorandum of understanding (MoU) the two sides signed last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tehran and Moscow discussed their cooperation in the energy sector in the presence of Iran\u2019s Oil Minister Javad Owji and Russia\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two countries\u2019 delegations exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the oil, gas, petrochemical, electricity, and nuclear energy fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their discussions also revolved around following up previous memorandums of understanding and overcoming obstacles in the path of implementing the MoUs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first business-to-business (B2B) meeting on cooperation in oil and gas sectors was also held between Iranian and Russian companies at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) in Tehran on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talking during the meeting, Iran\u2019s Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs and Trade Ahmad Asadzadeh called for boosting cooperation between Iranian and Russian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10 cooperation documents signed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iran and Russia on Wednesday signed 10 documents, comprising six MoUs, two contracts, one agreement and a roadmap, on cooperation in oil industry. \u200e<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Twenty-eight Russian companies have taken part in the 27th Iran International Oil, Gas, \u200eRefining and \u200ePetrochemical Exhibition, also \u200eknown as Iran Oil Show 2023, and will hold talks with Iranian exporters and economic experts on the development of trade and industrial ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition will run through Saturday.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-05-18T14:22:05+00:00\"> 18 May 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The National Iranian Oil Company head and Russian state company Gazprom deputy chairman held talks on investment patterns for development of oil and gas fields.
