{"id":5302,"date":"2023-05-10T12:41:19","date_gmt":"2023-05-10T12:41:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=5302"},"modified":"2023-05-10T12:42:47","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T12:42:47","slug":"iran-iraq-joint-supreme-committee-meets-ahead-of-owjis-baghdad-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/5302\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran-Iraq Joint Supreme Committee meets ahead of Owji\u2019s Baghdad visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>Iran-Iraq Joint Supreme Committee held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the expansion of bilateral ties in the oil sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session was held a day before Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji\u2019s trip to the Iraqi capital Baghdad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iran\u2019s Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs and Trade Ahmad Asadzadeh was the head of the Iranian delegation in the session, during which bilateral cooperation in the development of joint fields, export of technical and engineering services, and implementation of memorandums of understanding in the oil industry were thoroughly discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heading a delegation, Owji is scheduled to hold talks with Iraq\u2019s Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, Oil Minister Hayan Abdel-Ghani, and Minister of Electricity Ziad Ali Fadel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 29, Iran\u2019s president put great emphasis on boosting Tehran-Baghdad relations and promoting their cooperation in infrastructure fields, including water, electricity, gas, and energy sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, who made remarks in a meeting with his Iraqi counterpart Abdul Latif Rashid in Tehran, added the two countries need to meet each other\u2019s needs by utilizing and developing their capacities.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-05-10T12:42:47+00:00\"> 10 May 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Iran-Iraq Joint Supreme Committee held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the expansion of bilateral ties in the oil sector.
