{"id":5112,"date":"2023-04-30T13:57:42","date_gmt":"2023-04-30T13:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=5112"},"modified":"2023-04-30T13:58:46","modified_gmt":"2023-04-30T13:58:46","slug":"npc-chief-iran-petrochemical-forum-to-cover-eight-topics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/5112\/","title":{"rendered":"NPC chief: Iran Petrochemical Forum to cover eight topics"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>The National Petrochemical Company (NPC) managing director on Sunday said the 14th Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF) focusing on value chain and new opportunities will revolve around eight topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morteza Shahmirzaei added the forum\u2019s subjects are \u201cFeedstock, products and supply chain\u201d; \u201cSolutions and advanced optimization technologies\u201d; \u201cIntegration and coordination between petrochemical and refining complexes\u201d; \u201cProduction process and market\u201d; \u201cMethanol market and its roles\u201d; \u201cGlobal energy crisis and future of petrochemical industry\u201d; \u201cInvestment and financial supply opportunities\u201d; and \u201cEnergy optimization and production without pollution\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also said workshops will be held to discuss \u201ccompounding and value chain\u201d, \u201capplied project models in petrochemical industry\u201d, \u201cpetrochemical projects in Iran: challenges and opportunities\u201d, and \u201ccarbon management strategy for petrochemical industry\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants in the 14th edition of IPF, the NPC head continued, will also exchange views on \u201cpetrochemical hubs and parks\u201d, \u201cdevelopment projects and investment in these projects\u201d and \u201cexploiting modern technologies\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2018Good opportunity\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shahmirzaei earlier said the forum will provide a &#8220;good opportunity&#8221; to acquire the world\u2019s modern technical know-how and indigenize technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NPC CEO made the remarks at the third session of the Executive Working Group on the 14th IPF and added the forum will help the petrochemical industry achieve its specified goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He put great emphasis on balanced development and continued, \u201cIran has manufactured a great number of petrochemical equipment and products and is moving on a path toward self-sufficiency, acquiring technical know-how, and producing catalysts by relying on its scientists and researchers\u2019 knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shahmirzaei added, \u201cWe need to promote quality of petrochemical products and produce strategic products to meet the needs of midstream and downstream industries.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tehran will host the 14th Iran Petrochemical Forum from May 1-2, in which experts and industrialists from more than 15 countries will take part.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-date no-social-btn post-updated\">Updated on<time class=\"updated dt-updated\" itemprop=\"dateModified\" datetime=\"2023-04-30T13:58:46+00:00\"> 30 April 2023<\/time><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The National Petrochemical Company (NPC) managing director on Sunday said the 14th Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF) focusing on value chain and new opportunities will revolve around eight topics.
