{"id":224,"date":"2022-06-12T10:04:43","date_gmt":"2022-06-12T10:04:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/?p=224"},"modified":"2022-06-12T10:04:46","modified_gmt":"2022-06-12T10:04:46","slug":"second-iran-made-oil-tanker-delivered-to-venezuela","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roydadnaft.ir\/English\/224\/","title":{"rendered":"Second Iran-Made Oil Tanker Delivered to Venezuela"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\" itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>The second Iran-made giant oil tanker (of Aframax class) was delivered to Venezuela as the Latin American state&#8217;s President Nicolas Maduro is on a visit to Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MohammadSadegh Razmi from Roydad Naft Reprted- The oil tanker was delivered to the Venezuelan customer during a ceremony in Sadra shipbuilding yards in Southern Iran on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iranian President Ebrahim Rayeesi and Maduro used a video conference link to watch the ceremony from the Iranian capital Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadra company&#8217;s directors and Venezuelan officials also exchanged documents needed for the delivery of the ship in the presence of Rayeesi and Maduro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadra is a subsidiary of Iran\u2019s elite military force, the IRGC, and its shipbuilding yards are based along the Persian Gulf coast in Bushehr province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadra&#8217;s CEO Ali Zareyee said building a third and fourth Aframax tankers by the company, which have reportedly been ordered by Venezuela, will begin soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aframax is an oil tanker with a deadweight between 80,000 and 120,000 metric tons (mt). This is a second such tanker delivered by Iran to Venezuela as part of arrangements between the two countries to counter American sanctions targeting their oil sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tanker delivered to Venezuela on Saturday can carry 113,000 mt or 750,000 barrels of oil.
